Arterial Duplex
An arterial duplex ultrasound is a vital diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the health and efficiency of the blood vessels supplying your arms and legs. At Advance Diagnostics Laboratories (ADL), we utilize advanced imaging to identify potential blockages or narrowing caused by plaque, as well as to detect arterial enlargements such as aneurysms. Whether you need to monitor existing arterial disease or require a follow-up after a surgical intervention, our professional team ensures a precise assessment with a comprehensive radiologist report delivered within 24 hours.
We will perform a detailed scan of arteries in the arm and/or leg to evaluate the vessels that supply blood to the extremity. Common examples for having this ultrasound scan are:
-
Look for blockages or narrowing caused by plaque in the arteries of the arms or legs.
-
Look for enlargement of the arteries in the arms or legs (aneurysm).
-
Monitor existing arterial disease or follow-up after surgical intervention.
We will provide a Radiologist report within 24 hours.
Pre-scan Preparation
